Who do you have over for Sunday dinner?
At our house it's usually Mr T. He often waits until I've made my after church errand run (pickup mail at PO Box and cash at ATM) and is there in the driveway when I come home. He wanders to the back porch soon to give us the poor pitiful "I'm hungry feed me" stare. We cave in. If our canned cat food cupboard is bare he'll be offered some kind of suitable people food he bolts down. Then he takes his post-meal bath.
Then he'll plop on the mat and survey the hillside before...
.
Settling down for his afternoon nap; however, you'll notice that the ears are "at attention" - this is normal.
He's ever vigilant to make sure no potential dessert* on the hill escapes his palate. (*that would be mouse, squirrel, or rabbit.)
When he's had enough rest, or no dessert can be heard (remember those ears?!)...
We're left with an empty porch.

Aren't cats funny people?
